Garden of Light

Garden of Light is a children’s library that emphasizes intellectual development, wellness, and curiosity through architecture. The design is grounded in biophilic principles, natural light integration, and spatial clarity. Located on a site shaped by wind patterns and solar exposure, the project strategically places educational and recreational spaces across two floors, creating a balance between interior reading zones and exterior green terraces. Natural light is used to define the user experience. A double-height library core is flooded with light, enhancing visibility and serenity, while adjacent outdoor spaces like a courtyard and a terrace provide zones for exploration, learning, and reflection.
